2019 Sebastiano Chardonnay

Because of its orientation at the top, the Chardonnay block receives a daily blasting of ocean winds (40+ knots) which yields very high quality fruit that also have thicker skins, which lends a beautiful glycerin and oily texture to the finished wine. The limestone soils also give the wine a wonderful mineral component. Because of these tough conditions, this Chardonnay carries extra weight and concentration in the mouth leading it to age wonderfully. The Sebastiano Chardonnay bouquet is filled with notes of white nectarine, lemon zest and a slight touch of proofing bread. In each sip there is a bounty of granny smith apple, juicy meyer lemon, and nutmeg that lead into a beautiful velvety finish.
